Environmental Audits
Business Situation

Auditing is the collection of evidence for the purposes of evaluating conformance to particular criteria. When it comes to health & safety and environmental management, this evaluation also includes the auditee’s compliance with their relevant legal obligations. Employers undertake audits by reviewing the workplace operations using a risk management model. This assessment should be undertaken by appropriately trained internal staff or by external providers. Persons performing these reviews should have experience in hazard identification, risk assessments and possess a strong knowledge of current legislative requirements.
